This Santa Doll is an easy project
to make. The push molds make his
face and hands. The base is a styrofoam cone that you can get at
any local craft store. |
He has a nice Santa or Wizard face that you can tweek to
give him your own look |
|
|
The online course gives detailed instructions on how to make the
doll, as well as pattern pieces to make the red outfit he has on.
Above I used the face mold to make a fancy bottle cover. It does
make the perfect host or teacher gift at the holidays. |
You can also use the mold to make your own Santa ornaments. His
beard was made in clay
using a garlic press to create the squiggly hair pieces. |
|
|
You can change the look of your santa by changing the color of the
outfits you dress him in. The fur on both of my santas were
created by using pieces of boas that I purchased at my local craft
store. |
Here is a St. Patrick's Day bottle cover bag. You can create an
entire bag, or just a slip-over to give the top a little extra whimsy. |
|
|
The mold also creates a Wizard. The pattern come with a
pattern for his hat and instructions on how to make his magic wand. |
You can see how easily you can change the look of santa into a
wizard. You can create your own woodland folk creatures using the
same molds. |
Here is another Wizard Bottle Cover. |
