Sculpting Book - More Info
Sculpting Fairies in Polymer Clay by Regina Edmonds
Second Edition is in full color |
This is the book I wrote on how to sculpt fairies from scratch
using polymer clay and the dental tool and the xacto knife.
It sold out on Amazon, but the biggest complaint was that
it was not in color! It was only meant really to be a
black and white how-to book for fairy fans, but
it sort of went viral.
I did finally revise it and now it is in color.
It begins really with a block of clay and explains my technique
for creating the dolls from scratch. The book also has
lots of tips on marketing your dolls, photography, and
other little bits of info that help the beginner dollmaker.
I only have a limited supply of the second printing
left so it has been removed from Amazon. I do
still sell it on my website, so if you would like to purchase it,
you can purchase it below.
I sell it with a starter kit, which includes a set of wings,
a small skull/face mold (you don't need it, but it helps
if you want to practice) and hair for your first few dolls.
I do have a revised skull and face mold, but this
is approximately what the little kit looks like.
The faces were made from the face mold.
